last sat, i was caught by an MMDA officer. i crossed that yellow box thingy at aurora ave corner EDSA. it was a honest mistake, i was tailing this jeep when the light turned red which i did not see. well, that's no excuse. so i kept my cool, put the van to the side of the road, talked and negotiated with the guy. obstruction of blah dee blah. that was my offense. ok fine gimme a ticket, right? he checks my license and it turns out that it's expired. CRAP. i asked what was the penalty for that and he said it'd be impounding the vehicle and a fine of P1500. cha ching! i said 200 bucks was all i had and it was my first time to get caught, which was all true. he was a good guy and told me stuff that i should do like renew my license, don't tail other vehicles like that, and the like. i secretly gave him 200 and we were off to our separate ways. i had to pay coz i dint have 1500 and im gonna drive my dad crazy if the van got impounded. 200 in exchange for 1500 and a raging father is a good deal right? well, morally, NO.
renewed my license yesterday. i had to wait 4 hours. unbelievable. well, at least i have my new license. expires on 2008. gotta keep telling myself that so i dont forget.
i'm the shark. that's ginger and dags at matabungkay, the first opportunity i got to go out during summer break. note that i did not use vacation coz i only got a coupla weeks, essentially.
