against the flow

ah, friendster. i used to spend hours on end looking for people i know and reading their info. haha. i stopped it after a while coz it was too time consuming, so i just let people add me coz actually, i was just lazy. haha. but now that i don't have anything better to do, i did what i used to do when friendster was relatively new. haha. hey, new friends need to be my "friend" too! hahaha.

feeling nostalgic.

next project, the Friendster Friends Purge.

the day started at 10:30am when i woke up. seeing that we were in no condition to go to church for the 11am service as we were all just getting out of bed, we opted to attend the 6pm service. off to lunch!

we had lunch at a favorite japanese place of the family. i stuffed so much food into my face. i could have broken the record for "most amount of food stuffed into face per second." kidding. after gaining a few pounds in just under an hour, my family loves to take time eating out, we headed for grandma's house.

we gave her a rose plant. it's pretty. knowing my grandma's house, i knew i was gonna get bored so i went out and my bro followed me. i smell a DOtA match. we played and i kicked his butt.

after that, we headed to church. message: full armor of God / suffering for Christ. bring it on!

after which, we had dinner at eastwood. i was still full from our heavy lunch so i just got a salad. i like veggies. we chilled until about 10:30 and boarded the car. it took us 20 minutes or more just to get out of the parking building. im talking about the flimsy looking metal parking thing, not the big parking building. i'm never parking there again. it takes so long to get out. ugh.

today was fun.

dad says his bosses have gone amock and he's not receiving his salary. this does not look good.

here's what happened:

-went to galle at 2pm

-kit was there. passed time with ron and gab.

-went to gcf at 4pm.

-met campers. yaaaay.

-very tiring ice breaker. we had to dance. haha.

-micah's song! funny!

-ate our rations (dinner)

-praise and worship! and i gave a testimonial.

-more P&W

-bedtime. but i was up till 6:30 watching the camp videos.

DAY 2

-breakfast of crackers

-program, de-briefing.

-more rations (lunch)

-dota with the kids at 1pm

-waste time till 5pm

-watched The Da Vinci Code at 6:30

-home at 10. whew.

i finally got to borrow warcraft 3 CD's, which i have been looking for in weeks. as some of you know, DOtA is a campaign map of warcraft, so i NEED those discs!

i've been playing online like mad ever since. here's why.

a decent dota game will last about an hour. at computer rental places, you will shed for as low as P15 to P60 depending on the place. that's pricy, especially for people who play more than one game.

playing at home = bliss

it's 3:30 am and my dad's still online. i can hear him voice conferencing with his bosses abroad or sumthin. this does not look good.

my dad hasn't been employed for five years and yet he still provided for our needs, and a little bit of our wants, as a family. he's amazing. being employed for a few months really was a load off his shoulders and meant a notch higher in the family's lifestyle. now that he seems to be going to be losing his job, i just pray for the best. dad'll come up with something. he always does. he's super dad.

that makes me his super son!

i know someone who named his/her phone. it's cute. so effective immediately, my phone shall be known as Bogart, the warrior prince.
