the beach
again, another batangas trip hosted by burns. i love it there!
friday morning, i woke up and readied myself for hte trip. i packed my bags and off i went with my dad to a rendezvous point with burns and company. i picked up zarah on the way and off we were! had breakfast at jollibee near tiendesitas and the guys arrived as i was finishing my meal up.
blah blah blah
picked up jerome at jollibee at parañaque.
road trip to batangas commences.
blah blah blah
a coupla hours into the trip, we come across a humble eatery. for prices they offered, the portions were generous and it was cheap. we saw how real sisig was made. they literally were grilling half of a pig's face on burning coals! i guess they'll chop that up a bit later and serve it on a sizzling plate, which they did. they're lomi's serving was WHOA. i was expecting a bowl for one person but no, it was a big bowl for 2-3 persons! haha. having eaten a heavy breakfast, i didn't finish it all. there was a lot to go around for everyone though so it's ok. shopped at the market for our dinner (liempo) and off we were again!
blah blah blah
it was 1130 when we arrived at burns' place and settled a bit. by noon we were on the way to the beach.
the beach condensed:
-guys in birthday suits
-kayakking
-sunbathing
-hiking
-jumping into the open sea
-the green hornet (hehe)
-we were there till sunset
after the beach, everyone washed up, ate, and slept for a coupla hours. we were all beat.
everybody woke up and the karaoke singing began. we sang till 3am. well, until the lights went out. you see at burns' place, it's a farm. farms don't have lighting outside. pitchblack. everybody was creeped out and went to bed. going to bed doesn't mean sleeping though. they kept on telling ghost stories. i'm no scaredy cat, but you have to understand that i just saw The Grudge 2 the day before so the images were still pretty vivid on my mind. VERY VIVID. i know he was just playing, but Burns kept on saying that he feels something wierd about the door. i was the one nearest to it so i creeped out. we were seven people. i compressed on them so much that we fit on less than 1 and a half beds. i was that scared. we were like that from 3am till sunrise. when there was a hint of light, i began to not be afraid. hehe. i moved and we all occupied the 2 beds comfortably. we slept at sunrise.
woke at 10 and had noodles for breakfast. just something to fill the tummy i guess. we were on the way back to manila by 1130.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
i didn't know this, but we were going to abby's place pala. she's burns' girlfriend. she had food prepared for us. a late luncheon! food is always good.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
we were back at manila by 5.
im still tired.
