against the flow

as most of my friends know, i'm not really a physical type of guy. i do, however, enjoy a good sweating session. i have no real sport but i do jog once in a while. i also take a 15-20 minute walk to my favorite computer shop after school but that's a different story.

the day began at noontime. i woke up and was surprised to see that most of my family were still in bed. very typical on a sunday. the day slowly wore on and i decided to do some excercises with my arms. i got the dumbells and got busy. i've been trying to build up mass so as not to be scrawny. not that 100 reps twice a month would make any big difference, but there is some improvement. been doing pushups as well.

during free times like these, i finally get to check up on my pets. during weekdays, i just feed them and that's it. i don't really get to appreciate and do maintenance on weekdays. good thing that my pets are low maintenance. one of my tarantulas have recently molted and i rehoused another one seeing that it's becoming cramped in its little plastic cup. the scorpions are boring. they were just given to me so i might as well care for them. they don't really do much actually. two of my tarantulas have stopped eating which is a sign that another molt is coming.

i realized that the snake has not eaten for a few weeks already. this prompted me to buy some fish for it to eat. i got spare change amounting to ten pesos and rode the bike to go outside of the subdivision and buy a little plastic bag of little fish. it has been YEARS since i rode a bicycle and riding it again felt awesome. everybody should ride the bicycle. it's free transpo! getting out of the subdivision is a little over 1km and going to the pet store was another 1km so i rode a total of 4-5km to and from. i got home with a good sweat and a mild burning sensation on my legs and thighs. i love it. i fed a handful of little fish which Flotsam almost immediately finished. i threw in half a handful more and proceeded to take a cold shower.

i wish everyday was like this. 

presidency = stress.

augh. after the college week, i'm so gonna take a load off and relax. no duties, just schoolwork. i need it. i'm seriously not digging this.

in other news, ma'am Jimenez (AKA ma'am J) seems to have lessened her mean streak towards me. i don't know what that means, but i sure am relieved that she ain't grilling me every class now, even though i've skipped her classes due to other extra curricular activities.

been hanging out with a girl lately. i find her cute in a "simple girl" kinda way. she's funny and smart too. let's just see where this goes. 

music week is over. no more parade to worry about, no more pageant, no more late night dismissals, no more taking the car.. yep, thing's are gonna get back to normal. longer sleeping hours, more food, uh huh.. can't wait.

i want to get back to practicing the piano. i have a lot of catching up to do.

i want to save up. i want to buy another spider.

i want to see HER again. this feels so highschool. haha.

i want to sleep.
